This course provides the necessary knowledge for the participants to demonstrate the principle of Operations and Maintenance in a Mechanical Technician’s work environment.

This course has been designed to provide a good understanding and approach to the information required to understand the construction, operation and maintenance of Heat Exchanges.  The inspection and regulations vary depending on application and current regulations.  The technician must be aware of the different regulations and applications.  This will allow the technician to gain more understanding and knowledge of different troubleshooting techniques and testing procedures.  The knowledge gained from this course will allow the technician to participate further through on-job training and further practical experience. 

This course will provide a good understanding of the technology related to Heat Exchangers in the Industry.  This course will provide the learner with an understanding of this technology and its applications at the technician’s level, developing confident and professional enthusiasm, therefore, increasing the safe and productive efficiency that will come through this training.

The specifications and installation requirements of heat exchangers vary depending on the application, the technician must be aware of the different types of heat exchangers and the related maintenance necessary depending on these different types. 

Day 2

  • Maintenance and Repair
  • Diagnostics and Troubleshooting

 

The trainee will understand the required information and procedures to correctly maintain, diagnose and troubleshoot heat exchangers and learning troubleshooting techniques.

This course is mainly targeted to Mechanical Technicians in Oil and Gas industry working in the field as an introduction or refresher.

The course can also be applicable to employees working with equipment purchasing, procurement, storage, and job planning as well as immediate supervisors to the working technicians.
